God is jealous for three things...

Do we know what is burning on God's heart? Have we ever wondered what God is thinking about, and even jealous for? God's jealously is unlike our human jealousy that is often based on petty grounds. When Scriptures say that God is jealous, it points to His intense zeal and fervour, out of a holy desire.

Zechariah 8:2 ~This is what the LORD Almighty says: "I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her."

His Bride - that's us!
2 Corinthians 11:2 ~ I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.

One of my friends posted on her Facebook status, - My 6-year-old daughter taught me how to reply to God when He said what do you want? Just say: "I want whatever you want, God." I've been praying that since... and my heart always melt when I say that, and I believe it moves God's heart. May we desire for what God desires.. may our hearts burn with godly zeal for the things he is zealous for!
